话题：Every year several languages die out. Some people think that this is not
important because life will be easier if there are fewer languages in the world.
To what extent do you agree or disagree?
常见的雅思写作思路
你可能想到的是，“不同意(少了一些语言，生活不会变容易些)”，因为少了一些语言，“部分民族文化就会消失”。这个点是存在问题的，因为没有答题。“少了一些语言，部分民族文化就会消失”，和“生活不会变容易”有什么联系呢?感觉是 2 个无关的句子。
这个答案会导致什么样的问题呢?评分标准 Task Response 没有达到。有什么办法补救呢?(想想民族文化的部分消失和生活不会变简单有什么联系)
可以考虑的答案是：少了文化特色，旅游就少了，旅游带来的经济增长就少了，钱少了自然生活就变难了。
那这是一个好的答案吗?梳理一下以上的推理，就可以推出来：
语言的消失-民族文化的部分消失-旅游较少了-旅游带来的经济增长就减少了-钱少了生活就困难了。
推理越长，就可以凑到越多的字数?
请尽早摒弃这样的想法。
我们来这样思考一下：
①某种语言的消失，能导致这个民族的文化有多大部分消失?②这部分民族文化的消失，能导致旅游减少多少?(只有一点点)③旅游减少了，对当地经济的影响有多大?只要不是旅游国家或者旅游城市，影响就很小。那又有多少个主要靠旅游发展的国家和城市呢?所占比例非常小!
上面那些影响的大小是怎么估算出来的?通过日常的知识积累(平时一定要多接收信息，多思考)。一个推出另一个，但是推出可能性都不是 100%，那么第一个推到最后一个，可能性是多大呢?可能性会随着中间层级的数量的增加而减小。其实每次往前推，可能性都会变小，所以不要把推理做“长”了。
综上，这是一个不好的雅思写作论证。
其实我们在答题的时候，一般会想到很多相关的信息,而不是一开始就想到最可靠的信息。然后，我们应该去斟酌并筛选出强的论证，(丢掉弱的论证)。
回到题目，有什么更好的答案呢?
考虑如下论证：
1.
每种语言有自己的发音特点，和当地人的生理特征相称。换句话说，当部分语言消失时，部分人就要学习和自己生理结构不相称的语言，生活变难(比如，硬要日本人说英语)。
2.
一门独立的语言，包含很多表达当地人特点(感情，性格，思考方式等)的词和表达方式(想想那些只有当地人听得懂的字眼);统一化的语言常常没有这么精细。这样，当部分语言消失时，人们想表达的某些感情和个性就无法表达了，生活变难。
在雅思写作中，高大上的分论点是得分的关键吗?还是普通的观点配上优秀的语言?
这就是典型的语言重于思维。
如果我汉语不好，就无法表达我以上的意思，你会顺着看到这里吗?或者，我不能够有效地表达自己的意思，能让你学会这些东西吗?语言的重要性是极高的。
如果只靠语言，那么你就不必刷题了，因为你去背一篇语言完美的文章，考试的时候直接默写下来就可以了。这显然是不行的，再好的模板(好的句式)，你再好地去运用，没有合理的思维，雅思写作就是 5.5 分及以下。

quality of life. For instance, people in China can buy some bread and biscuits
that are imported from foreign countries. Those who live in cold areas can try
some fruits that are grown in the tropical area. Also, this 明 encourage the trade
between different regions, as any country or region can focus on the production
of the local food and exchange it with others. As a result, the productivity
increases significantly and people can buy high quality food at low prices.
However, this trend also has some negative effects, both on individuals and
on society. Food produced locally is believed to be fresher than that
transported a long distance from other regions. To extend the shelf life,
preservatives are commonly used in food processing, posing a risk to people"s
health, as these additives usually contain harmful substances. In addition, the
food of a region reflects its customs and cultures. If people follow the trend
to eat the imported food, some local special food may diminish, which would be a
loss of local food culture.
Overall, in a globalized era, we can expect more food produced in other areas
to appear on local people"s dining table. This can improve our living standard,
but meanwhile there are some problems that should not be ignored. (269

Even though locally grown foods are both fresher and seasonal, people in
today’s world seem to be reluctant to consume them but prefer imported food.
However, benefiting the local job market, this does poses far more potential
risks to people themselves and the community in which they live.
The more consumption of food imported from other places could create more job
opportunities locally. The more demand for imported foods , the more workers
will be in need. This is mainly because this demand opens up a new market where
different employees have to serve consumers from transporting these foods to
selling them to people. As a result, there will be a great deal more unfilled
job vacancies and the unemployed could then find a well-paid job.
However, people’s preference of food imported from other places will take a
heavy toll on their overall health in the long term. It is well known that the
refresher the food is, the healthier it is for people’s health. Compared with
locally grown food, the imported counterparts from far-away states and countries
have to be added some special chemical ingredients to keep them from being
rotten as it has to be travelled long distance and to stay in the distribution
enters before reaching consumers. In this case, the imported food may not be
full of flavor and be detrimental to people’s health, especially for the older
and the children alike.
Consuming more imported foods rather than local food inflicts serious damage
to the local economy. If a vast majority of local residents buy and eat more
food produced in other areas, some of them will be deprived of work, the only
source of family income, and therefore this high unemployment will also
undermine the local economy. What’s worse, this consumption pattern will
unfortunately end up handling
over the earnings to a corporation in another
city, state or country to help them boost their economy, instead of to the local
economy.
In conclusion, while proving people with more job choices, this preference of
imported food is dangerous to people’s health as well as local economy.(336
